Brevard Zoo releases rehabilitated sea turtle


On Thursday evening, Hairy the sea turtle was released back into the ocean at Paradise Beach, after spending months at Brevard Zoo getting treatment.

Hairy, a juvenile green sea turtle, was found debilitated in March in Cocoa Beach.

Hairy, whose gender was not identified, was taken to the zoo's Sea Turtle Healing Center for a checkup, where a CT scan revealed that both of his front flippers were suffering from bone loss, according to Elliott Zirulnik, communications...

Male peacocks dance to attract mates and I wanted to get a good picture for a long time (always, the view was partially obscured or had wrong background). Finally got lucky today to get a frame covering shot. The image was overexposed by two stops and then down processed giving the vivid details. [The correctly exposed image didnt have details]
